I pray you see your value

That it is not something to earn

I pray you see your worth

That it is not around the next turn

You see, your value has always been in you

Even before you were born

Your value cannot go up or down

It cannot be crumpled up, ripped, or torn

Our value is made by an immeasurable God

The One who formed the land and sea

Our value to Him is worth His only Son

Oh, how valuable must we be?

When our hearts break,

Especially at a young age

We go through life

Not feeling quite right

We think something is wrong with us

We become blind to our value with our very own eyes

That is when it’s time to fight

The devil will cloud your mind

With all sorts of evil lies

Saying you are not good enough to be loved

In the most crafty disguise

The people in the past who’ve hurt you

Will be used to make you believe

That you’ve got to prove your worth

Or else everyone will leave

What a thief

The devil steals years of our life

Telling us we need more

So we overlook what we’ve always had

Hoping our hearts will be cured

The cure is Jesus

It’s sitting down and talking to Him

The cure is Jesus

Asking Him to heal what’s broken

Because breaks happen

And God knows how hard it’s been

But to heal

We must fully let Him in

When you do,

Be prepared

The journey is like no other

When you do,

Get excited

You walk taller when you know you’re covered

You’re incredible,

You’re unique

You’re amazing just as you are

You don’t need to seek outside yourself

You’re worthy, my friend

It’s your turn to believe you are
